Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

EMA continues to welcome interested companies to submit further proposals to import and sell low-carbon electricity in Singapore. Please visit the Regional Power Grids page for details on proposal submission requirements.
In Nov 2021, EMA launched the first Request for Proposal (RFP1) to select and appoint new competent entities to import and sell up to 1.2GW of electricity in Singapore via new interconnectors between Singapore and the source country, for delivery by end 2027.
EMA has received requests from RFP1 participants for more time to develop their proposals. To accommodate these requests, EMA has combined RFP1 with RFP2. Proposals that have been submitted under RFP1 will automatically be considered under RFP2, without having to be submitted afresh.
With this streamlined RFP process, Singapore remains on track to meet our imports target of 4GW by 2035. Proposals for electricity supplied using coal-fired generation technologies will not be accepted.
For EOI proposals, participants shall submit in accordance to the form set out in Annex A of the attached RFP2 document via email to [email protected].
As for submission of the final proposals, participants shall, as much as reasonably possible, submit in accordance to the requirements set out in Sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the RFP1 document. Please refer to the attached document for more details.
